This September 18th was the Facebook developers Barcelona World Hack 2012, was a pleasure to have this event in Barcelona an has been invited to attend it.

The event started early at the morning with some cool presentations about news Facebook Api features. The Facebook engineers explained us how to interact with the Api.
Then other startups as Deezer, Twilio or Pusher explained us their products and how to use it for our apps or websites. Interesting.
After the speaks, at 12.00 pm started the hack time. We started the Hack eating Paella. Was great to see some devs friends there as Oriol Capdevila, Toni Sala o David.
I made a great team with Oriol Blanc, Fernando Garcia. We Hacked all the afternoon, starting thinking our idea, discussing what could we do and what could be interesting for learning something new. The handicap was the time, we only got 6 hours to start and finish the app.
Finally we make a trivial game based on the music which the user is listening. We knew that because we took it from the Facebook user wall with the API. If you could not remeber a song of one group, you could listen a preview using Dezeer. Was great.
Fernando mades the backend engineering, Oriol and me developed the app, Oriol mades the app logic and deezer api, and me the Ui interface.

After all we got the presentations. We presented the last. The demo didn't work, "Demo Effect", but then when it worked, we showed the product to the jury. So, because I was the speaker, I explained to the audience what was our product about and how does it works.
Finally we WON the best mobile Game! Was a really surprise!
The prize was an AppleTV an 250€ with Facebooks ads.
